How do I clean stains from my antique copper verdigris, without ruining the patina?
I have an old sink (1780) with a copper coating at the top. I moved recently and where the up and looked at the bottom of the shirt had little blue green number of points. Do not want these to eat through the copper or anything (is solid, tailored to the piece 50 years ago), so I want to get rid of them, but I like the spots and the penny brown patina so do not want to polish out all shiny, well. I think that the points could have been caused by the fact that we had only minor flooding at the home of a couple of years ago. We sink like polished wood beneath my shirt and I wonder if the red furniture polish oil and contributed to the problem of there is no blue-green on the upper surface showing. Thanks for any advice or help!
hi use the lemon juice and gently rub the points below, put vaseline on the fragment in which this should stop the oxygen in the air to attack the points
